ERYONE Filament Profiles for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and Cura

A good filament profile is not one copied number. It is a repeatable starting point matched to the exact spool, printer, nozzle and model. This workflow helps you create and save an ERYONE profile without changing several variables at once.

01

Begin with the exact spool and printer

Confirm the material, diameter and product variant on the spool before opening the slicer. Standard PLA, PLA+, PETG and Silk PLA should not be treated as one interchangeable material, even when they share the ERYONE brand.

Start from the printer manufacturer's generic profile for that material and the temperature guidance printed for the exact filament. Keep the correct nozzle diameter, build plate and printer model selected before calibration.

Compare the exact material before choosing a preset: ERYONE PLA and PLA+ filament, PETG filament or Silk PLA filament. For example, check the product details for Standard PLA Black, PETG Black, PETG White and A-Silk Gold; do not transfer a calibrated profile between these materials without testing.

  • Check material name and variant on the spool label.
  • Select the exact printer, nozzle diameter and build plate.
  • Use the spool guidance as a starting range, not a universal final setting.
  • Create a duplicate profile so the slicer's defaults remain untouched.
02

Set up a profile in Bambu Studio

Choose a compatible generic material preset, duplicate it and give the copy a clear name containing ERYONE, the material and the printer. Enter only values supported by the spool guidance before running a small calibration print.

For printers with an automatic material system, make sure the material selected on the device and in the project matches the physical spool. A mismatch can make a correct profile appear unreliable.

03

Set up a profile in OrcaSlicer

Duplicate the closest generic material preset, then use OrcaSlicer's calibration tools in a controlled order. Temperature and flow behaviour should be established before fine retraction changes, because an earlier change can affect the result of a later test.

Save a separate profile for each meaningful combination of material, printer and nozzle. A profile tuned for one machine is useful evidence, but it is not automatically correct for another hot end or feed path.

04

Set up a profile in Cura

Select the correct printer and create a custom material based on the closest generic type. Record the spool identity in the material name, then apply the manufacturer's starting guidance and print a compact test model.

Keep advanced settings visible only when you need them. A small set of known changes is easier to troubleshoot than a profile with many copied overrides whose purpose is unclear.

05

Tune in a dependable order

Use the same test model and change one variable at a time. First confirm the material is dry and the mechanical setup is sound. Then evaluate temperature, flow, pressure or linear advance where supported, and finally retraction and travel behaviour.

Before changing the profile, follow the filament storage and moisture troubleshooting guide for the UAE to check how the spool has been stored.

  • Dry storage and a clean, unobstructed nozzle.
  • Temperature test within the product guidance.
  • Flow calibration for consistent walls and surfaces.
  • Pressure or linear-advance calibration if the printer supports it.
  • Retraction and travel tuning after the earlier tests are stable.
06

Save results you can reproduce

Name the final profile with the material, printer, nozzle size and date. Keep a short note of the build plate, room conditions and test model. If a future spool behaves differently, you can compare evidence instead of rebuilding the profile from memory.

Recheck the profile after a nozzle, hot-end, extruder or build-surface change. The goal is a reliable baseline that can be verified, not a promise that one preset will suit every geometry.

Looking for a spool in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE? Browse the ERYONE filament catalogue and request an availability update for your chosen material and colour. Our first shipment has not arrived, prices are not confirmed and we cannot give an arrival date. An availability request is not a purchase, reservation or preorder.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there one universal ERYONE filament profile?

No single profile is guaranteed across every ERYONE material, printer, nozzle and model. Start with the exact product guidance and calibrate a duplicate generic profile on your own machine.

Can the same profile be used in Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer?

The settings can provide a useful reference, but profile formats and printer definitions differ. Recreate and verify the material profile in the slicer and printer combination you will actually use.

Should PETG use my PLA profile?

No. PETG and PLA have different printing behaviour and product guidance. Begin from a PETG preset and calibrate the exact spool rather than renaming a finished PLA profile.

Why did a saved profile stop working well?

Check spool moisture, nozzle condition, build plate, printer maintenance and whether hardware or slicer versions changed. Confirm those factors before making many profile adjustments.
